Bakery Manager / Kitchen Lead

We’re looking for a confident, organised Bakery Manager / Kitchen Lead to step into a key leadership role at Thank Goodness Foods.

This role is not a baking-only position. It’s for someone who is equally comfortable in the kitchen and at a desk. You’ll be leading daily production while also managing orders, stock, suppliers, and admin — ensuring the smooth flow between the kitchen, office, and customer-facing side of the business.

You’ll be joining a small, creative team that works with whole, real ingredients and high attention to detail. Strong organisational skills, clear communication, and solid computer literacy are essential. This role requires confidence using tools like Excel and Google Suite, and the ability to keep systems, schedules, and information accurate and up to date.

This role could be a great fit if you:

  • Enjoy working with people and have good communication and leadership skills

  • Have a genuine interest in creativity and recipe development using wholesome ingredients

  • Have experience in a managerial role (kitchen or related environment)

  • Are comfortable with administrative work and digital tools

  • Have strong organisational and computer skills (Excel experience is important)

Key Responsibilities:

Leading daily kitchen production and maintaining quality & consistency

Managing orders, stock, suppliers, and deliveries

Supporting and supervising the kitchen team

Handling a portion of office-based admin, including order tracking and communication

Bridging kitchen operations with admin, customers, and the business owner

Contributing to product development and creative problem-solving
